Great! Glad to hear you enjoy feeling clean and are ready to upgrade your throne. First, you need to determine what type of toilet you currently have (or whatever toilet you wish to equip). Toilets come in two basic form factors: the standard 2pc with separate tank and bowl, or the more modern 1pc sculpted unit.

Got it. So what does it mean if I have a 1pc or 2pc toilet?

Well if you have a 2pc toilet, you're in luck! Virtually all bidet toilet seats will be able to fit. If you have a 1pc toilet, your selection is a bit more limited. Read product descriptions carefully to make sure the bidet seat will fit your 1pc toilet.

Well, how do I know if my toilet is Round or Elongated? That's important too right?
Absolutely. After you figure out whether you have a 1pc or 2pc toilet, the next step is to determine if your toilet bowl shape is Round or Elongated. Many of the more modern, stylish toilet bowls have the Elongated shape. Measure your toilet in inches from the center of the two mounting holes, to the end of your toilet bowl (line A) as shown below:

faq2

-If Line A is roughly 16.5, your bowl is ROUND.
-If Line A is roughly 18.5, your bowl ELONGATED.
Check the bidet toilet seat specifications for exact measurements if your bowl falls somewhere in between.

That Was Not So Bad. Are There Any Other Concerns I Should Have?

More importantly, make sure there is enough room in the surrounding area for a solid four to five inches of clearance on the right side to accommodate for a control panel. Both Standard and electronic bidets are controlled by control panels attached to the right side of the seat.

Now that I have figured out the Size, Color, and Shape of my Toilet -How Do I Pick the Bidet that is Right for Me?

Now you have to choose whether you want a Standard or Electronic Bidet.
Standard Bidets like the ZJ-788, ZJ-988 and ZJ-800 can be easily installed on your existing toilet/toilet seat and is an affordable way to experience the luxury of bidet washing without emptying your wallet. They usually water hookups and basic nozzle functionality, but still achieve its basic goal: leaving you with a shower feel clean for your butt.
Electronic Bidets like the ZJ-58A, YB-1100 and YB-2015 replace your existing toilet and offers you various luxurious features, such as heated seats to warm air dryers. It all depends on how much you want to spend. The 58A with and without remote control are some of the best available values on the market because they include the full range of luxury feature at great prices.
